Who We Are
Founded in 2008, Real Estate Recovery Mission is a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit real estate development organization dedicated to providing safe and
affordable housing opportunities to homeless and low-income individuals, with
special consideration for veterans and their families. As part of the
government’s Affordable Housing HUD/VASH program, we provide housing to
homeless and low-income veterans throughout the Southern California
counties of Los Angeles, San
Bernardino, and Riverside.
We also provide low fee rentals to those in need across Southern
California. with housing in the cities of Barstow, Victorville,
Desert Hot Springs and other locations in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
Our organization's priority is to provide housing for Southern
California’s homeless veteran population.
Our housing opportunities consist of properties acquired
from banks, the National Community Stabilization Trust, and those that are
donated to us by organizations or private individuals. We renovate the
properties utilizing green energy methods for maximum efficiency. Though our country's
economy is improving, banking institutions currently have more REO
(foreclosure) properties in inventory than they have had in the past. We seek to
acquire and renovate as many of these properties as possible to help low-income
and homeless individuals and families.
Our organization is staffed by qualified individuals who
have extensive experience in real estate and housing services. All staff are
screened via an application, criminal background check and an interview. The
primary team members of RRM are dedicated and experienced nonprofit
consultants, real estate contractors, and California
licensed real estate brokers with over 10 years of experience in listing,
procuring, and transferring real properties, specifically focusing on underserved
and low-income families.
